1 ½ lbs. salmon
¼ c. brown sugar (I used coconut sugar)
3 Tbsp. Bourbon
3 Tbsp. chopped green onions
2 Tbsp. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. Vegetable oil (I used avocado or you could use olive oil)
Marinate overnight or for several hours ahead of cooking.
Grill skin side down for 20 minutes.
Tips & Tricks
I used the cedar planks to add some flavor!
If you use the planks, soak them in water for 30 minutes before grilling by filling a cookie sheet with water.
Place planks in water.
Turn occasionally so both sides are wet.
